Proposal on the board composition by the Nomination Committee of Rautaruukki
Rautaruukki Oyj Stock Exchange Release 31 Jan 2006 at 15.25
The Shareholders' Nomination Committee of Rautaruukki proposes to the Annual General Meeting to be held on 23 March 2006, that six members will be elected to the Board in addition to Chairman and Vice Chairman.
The committee proposes that Mr Jukka Viinanen be re-elected to continue as Chairman, Mr Georg Ehrnrooth as Vice Chairman and the present members of the Board Mr Christer Granskog, Ms Pirkko Juntti, Ms Maarit Aarni, Mr Kalle J. Korhonen and Ms Kiuru Schalin as members of the Board until the end of the following Annual General Meeting. Furthermore, it is proposed that Mr Reino Hanhinen, Chairman, Board of Directors, YIT Corporation is elected as new member of the Board for the same one-year term.
The committee proposes that the monthly remuneration to the members of the Board
is as follows:
