Rautaruukki's Annual General Meeting today

Rautaruukki Corporation's Annual General Meeting will be held today, Wednesday,
23 March 2006, at 12.00 hours at the Marina Congress Center in Helsinki. The
Annual General Meeting will be conducted in Finnish.
The CEO's Review, presented by Mr Sakari Tamminen, President and CEO, is
scheduled to start approximately at 12.00 hours. In his presentation Sakari
Tamminen will state the same near-term outlook that was presented in the
Financial statements bulletin 2005. The CEO's Review will be webcast live with
simultaneous interpretation into English. The webcast may be followed on the
company website at www.ruukki.com/investors. The presentation material will also
be available on the company website at the same time.
